Trug Life exists because gardening is amazing… and also slightly feral.
We create t-shirts, mugs, hats and gifts that celebrate the chaotic optimism of grow-your-own gardeners. The kind of optimism that confidently says, “This year will be different,” while standing next to 42 tomato seedlings and a watering can held together by hope.
This isn’t about perfect aesthetics.
It’s about muddy boots.
Over-sowing.
Slug battles.
Weather-induced mood swings.
And loving your plot anyway.
The garden chaos is brought to life through the characters in our designs — exaggerated, slightly dramatic, and uncomfortably relatable. They represent the over-sowers, the prepper types, the plant doctors and the pest haters we all become at some point in the season.
Trug Life is for the growers, allotment owners, compost hoarders and serial seed buyers who know things rarely go to plan — but turn up regardless because they F**king love it!
